Foreword

The Year of the Hunter arrives to México: the Battleground. When in the late 1994 I heard about it, I knew I had to have my own breed of Hunters; the government is too corrupt; the Church too undermanned; only the old Order of Knighthood stood as the defender of humanity in the boiling cauldron of México's supernatural melieu.

My desire to adapt most of Aztec history and mythology into the WoD led me to the Eagle Knights; as many other items of the Aztec culture were already taken by the other supernaturals.

My deepest thanks go to Nicholas Rossier, whose ideas and insight helped me flesh out the history of the order and its relationship with the vampires of Mexico-Tenochtitlan.
