No it does not currently.  I don't think the gpm patch will live
happily with other systems as yet.  I plan on incorporating the patch
soon since the configure script is setup better.

I also haven't incorporated the regex patch yet.  (Available on
ftp://identical.stu.rpi.edu/pub/linux/xwpe)

(In fact I haven't checked either the gpm or regex patch to see if they
work with the new version.)
