wrong option -c for FreePascal

Hello,
I have tried to use xwpe to compile  Pascal-Souce.
I use Free-Pascal (ppc386)  and no Compiler options.
When compiling, I got the message
8<-------------------
 ppc386 -c /home/ht/DATEN/pas/hello.pas -o ~/DATEN/pas/hello.o
Error: Illegal parameter: -c
Success
8<-------------------
I don't know where is the orign of the (wrong!) option "-c"

any hints?
