Step problem

I installed xwpe-1.5.23a.tar.gz
And used the ncurses patch like this :

patch we_debug.c xwpe-ncurses5.patch

Now i have a problem with Step<F8>

I first run a small C++ test program normally.
That work ok.

When i try to do F8 (step) i get this in the messages window :

Success
Success

And then it all stops.

When i do 'kill <gdb number>' i get 'Start Debugger' in the messages
window.
After that i do 'kill <xwpe>'
And xwpe exits.

That's the only way i know to get out of xwpe in this case.

Does anyone know how to solve this 'step' problem ??
