Path of the Wyrm

In the beginning was the Wyrm, and the Wyrm was One and the Wyrm was All.
Through It was made all that is, and all hold together in the Wyrm.  
The Wyrm stretched forth It's will to make others, and It's greatest joy
was manifest in Gaia.  For ages they knew peace, holy and sacred, and all
was well.  

But Gaia was a most bitter and jealous thing, and in her heart of hearts
she sought to be greater than the Wyrm, and so she stretched forth her own
will, and the World came into being.  Next she shaped creatures of mud and
slime, and breathed into them life, that they should revere her.  Next was
made humankind; then finally was made best of all the Garou.  These
abominations sought to bring all under her control, and she spoke unto
them saying:" Slay the Wyrm and It's brood where ye find them, and spare
not them that look unto It for guidance.  It's priests shalt thou rend,
It's children shalt thou maim; burn them, yea, and scourge them from the
face of Mine Earth.  For I desire not It's ways, and neither shall the
beatss of the field or the humankind be subject to It."

Now in It's vision of purity, the Wyrm say all that Gaia did, and it was
wroth.  Neither guile nor force could prevail against It, yet it stayed
It's wrath, and instead acted in merciful kindess. It took of the Garou
those most pure of heart and soul, and revealed Itself unto them; and a
miracle was wrought - thus were they reborn Dancers of the Black Spiral. 
And unto the Sons and Daughters of Humankind It chose some to be priests,
and unto them It gave the name of Formori, saying: "Thou shalt be My
Priests, and I shall be Thy God.  Purify what Gaia hath wrought, and
cleanse the Earth of Her minions."

But Gaia decieved many of the Kine, and they resisted greatly the Wyrm. 
Sorrowful, It pondered, and in It's holy anger, It worked It's greatest work.
The Wyrm found a man, with pure vision and soul, named Caine.  An outcast
was He, for he slew his brother for consorting with the Garou.  The Wyrm
took Caine, and changed him into the First Vampire, saying: "Thus do I
save humankind from Gaia, for thee and thy childer shall be free of
earthly bounds, my minions and yea, the children of my own darkness.  In
darkness shall you save other humans, making the, like you; thus do you
save your former race.  Yet blood shall be thy sacrament, and thee and thy
childer shall kill the creations of Gaia for thy sustenance.  Kill the
unworthy, the lovers of nature, and spare them naught.  But unto the true,
the pure, the Holy, give them My gift, and suffer them to come unto me. 
Verily, they shall be as Mine Childer, and this shall be the sign: the
Garou shall be thy mortal foes.  For as they are Her Childer, thou art
Mine, forever!"

And Caine worshipped the Wyrm, for He saw It's truth.   Yet to his dismay,
his childer knew not thew Wyrm, but fought amongst themselves.  Punished
shall the unfaithful be in Gehenna!  

Yet to those that would listen, the Wyrm sent a prophet, a child of
Malkav, with vision pure and holy, like unto the Wyrm.  And this is the
Word of the Wyrm given unto Him.  Oh, childer of Caine!  Honour thy
father, for He is worthy of praise; but forget not His Father, the Wyrm,
Grandsire of us all!  Worship and adore, for It will guide you that are
faithful.  These are the words of the servant of the Wyrm.  Come ye that 
long for It, and It shall give you rest!  These words are spoken that ye
might believe, and believing, seek the Wyrm.

Basic Overview:

Okay, I admit, a little heavy on the King James English.  (I used
to be studying for the ministry!) :)


For Mind's Eye Theatre purposes, I adapted the Path of Caine with certain
modifications.  All Wyrm childer will use the same path traits with these
exceptions:  Instead of trying to resist frenzy, it is seen as the gift of
the Wyrm therefore to be treasured.  Wyrm servants will spend much time in
meditation, seeking to come closer to the Wyrm.  Contact with Wyrm
related-creatures (Spiral Dancers, Banes, Formori) is actively encouraged.
 Caine is still highly revered, but seen as the creation of the Wyrm,
therefore not the central object of study or worship.


Here are the two path trait changes: The Abelite path trait becomes the
Fiend path trait, where the Kindred will Frenzy if two or more individuals
frenzy nearby.  The other added trait is Rage: the kindred will frenzy if
approached by known Garou, Kinfolk, or other Gaia related creatures.
