Septon Industries used to be a conglomerate that merged a cosmetics firm and a communications firm under the same marketing umbrella. However, events in late 1991 caused the collapse of the Winnipeg branch, and financially weakened the Vancouver branch. Strictly a Canadian company, Septon Industries' stock fell fast. They were fielding offers to be bought out by Pentex International and Toshiba. However, to everyone's surprise, they accepted a bid from Chydyk Developments Corp. Head of Chydyk Developments, Krysia Chydyk quicky cut Septon's cosmetics division. She also discovered some rather shady chapters to Septon's past. Apparently, Septon Industries was an "unofficial" subsidiary of Pentex International. At this point, Pentex attempted a leveraged buy-out of Septon Industries, but Krysia found financial aid under the guise of Leonard Fisk. SHe never met Mr. Fisk, but he provided ample financial backing to allow her to repel Pentex ongoing attempts at buy-out. Chydyk sold off Chydyk Developments Corp, and established a branch of Septon Industries in Zurich. Septon is now known as Septon Industries International Ltd. It specializes in communications, and has a number of contracts with the Department of National Defence (Canada), and with Siemens in Germany, and Software A.G., in Virginia. It is a stable company, whos stock is just starting to regain its once stable, proud state. 8.1.2 D.N.A. Inc. D.N.A. Inc. Is a research laboratory bent on exploring natural selection through genetic manipulation. Their theory is that by finding the best course of evolution, we can guarantee the survival of the race, through our self-designed destruction. Most of D.N.A., is defined in the book of the Wyrm. However, what is special about the Toronto branch, is that Akashic brotherhood have played some small part in encouraging human testing. Three Akashic Brothers have undergone treatment in the DNA laboratories, and have reported incredible results. Further information is as yet unknown. 8.1.3 Destinations T.O. Destinations T.O. is a 2-man courier firm in downtown Toronto. Run by T. Black Mann, a former "man-in-black", he specializes in discreet package conveyance. D.T.O. has recently been under investigation for improper chargings, but has won an injuction from supreme court of appeals judge Joan Severin, that while the financial records may be viewed, teh clients names must remain confidential. 8.1.4 Value Pets Value Pets, in Kensington market, is one of the known fronts for the Garou tribe of the Black Furies. Unlike their Greek or Spanish counterparts, the Chinese Furies seem to be a very casual, laid-back people. Unfortunately, five Furies have disappeared through one of the Seven gateways (See Notable Sites in Toronto), and they are feeling vefy undermanned. A private investigations firm that capitalized on the ritual murders of children some years ago, is still trying to figure out what happened. Max Dugan, an ex CIA agent runs the operation. Unfortunately, about half-way into the investigation, his entire office is cleaned out. All of his staff diappears, and all evidence in his office is gone. Crusaders Inc. is a good source of contact. They have a small group of people who have a lot fo contacts. They also maintain security around the seven gateways (via the Black Furies). 8.1.6 Roxxon Surveys Ltd. Roxxon Surveys Ltd. is a small geological consultation firm that is based out of a Bay Street office. there are only three people in the office, but over 90% of the work is contracted out. The most noticeable thing about the place (to any garou) is that thefax machine is bane-possessed. Roxxon Surveys Ltd. has acted as the meeting place for the exiled Gangrel elder and his few supporters, for the last twenty years. 8.1.7 The Digital Raven, Lounge & Entertainment Ltd. The Digital Raven is a chain of dance clubs and lounges across Toronto, that have made formal declarations to each of the supernatural species in Toronto, that theyir presence is welcome, so ong as none of the patrons are hassled. All conflicts will be taken care of off of Digital Raven properties. The Prince has declared any Digital Raven property to be Elysium. 8.1.8 Pentex International Inc. Pentex International does not have any direct offices in Toronto, but does have many subsidiaries. The Pentex office in Toronto shut down when the Winnipeg incident occurred. They have not explained their reasoning. 8.1.9 Sanctions Ltd. Originally a Private Investigations Firm, Sanctions Ltd has become the parent company to Spytech Clearance House, a warehouse sales outlet for investigative technology. It is rumoured that pretty much anything is available via Spytech--if you have enough money. However, Sanctions Ltd is operated independantly. The general populous is unaware that the owner/operator of Sanctions Ltd. is a Corax. Kelly Castinel has four "operatives" who work under her directly. Sanctions Ltd. is in turn a direct subsidiary of The Hermetic Society of Swift Light.
