     Croyd Crenson's joker burglar acquaintance in his first wild card days.
Doglike.  Was cured by Dr. Tachyon.

Black Dog
     The Hound of Hell, a joker terrorist.

Blackhead
     A joker.

Bloat
     A huge Joker ace who built the Rox from his own mind and power.  Theodore
Honorlaw, or Teddy.  Teenaged Tolkien fan who naively thought he could make
Ellis Island a Joker haven.

Bludgeon
     A joker/ace with a huge club hand with great strength.  Attacked Sewer
Jack who probably ate him, and if not, he'll die of AIDS from the rape
attempt, anyway.

Blueboy
     A Rox joker.

Brewer
     New Joker Brigade officer.

Canker
     A joker named for obvious reasons.

Chains
     A joker.

Chalktalk
     A joker who had her tongue cut out, was very feral and also has
dimensional shifting abilities.

Charm
     A joker.

Charon
     The joker who transported people to the Rox, a large bottom-feeding
entity.

Cheetah
     An ape-like joker who also helped Chop-Chop foil the Jokertown arson
plot.

Mrs. Chicken-Foot
     A chicken like joker at the Jokertown Clinic.  Real name Madeleine
Johnson.

Chickenhawk
     A Rox joker, again named for obvious reasons.

Chop-Chop
     Tanaka Choy, joker that was told about arson plot by Fleur van
Renssaeler.  Also briefly her lover.

Chrysalis
     A Jokertown information broker killed by Hiram Worcester.  Lover of
Daniel Brennan.  She had transparent skin.  Debra Jo Jory is her real name,
she affected an English accent, but was an American farm girl.

Cosmos and Chaos
     A joker juggling act at Freakers.

Crawler
     A joker with extremely light-sensitive large eyes.

Xavier Desmond
     Major of Jokertown.  Went on WHO tour, and died of cancer.  Owned the
Funhouse.

Doughboy
     A large, strong, simpleton joker who was wrongfully imprisoned at one
stage.

The Dreamer
     Eric Bell, a joker with ability to project visions of events, is also
telepathic.

Charles Dutton
     Joker activist and leader, a philanthropic joker who wears a death mask,
and runs the Bowery Wild Card Museum in Jokertown.

Elmo
     A dwarf joker with superhuman strength, was the bouncer at the Crystal
Palace.  Last name Schaeffer.

Eraserhead
     A joker with rubbery limbs, stepped in a punji trap and was sent home
from the New Joker Brigade.

     A lizard joker, owner of a restaurant.

     A criminal joker eaten by Sewer Jack.

Eyeball
     A New Joker Brigade joker.

Fartface
     A joker.

Maggie Felix
     Patient at Jokertown Clinic whose immune system was attacking her own
unborn fetus.

     Centaur joker doctor at the Jokertown Clinic.  Clara van Renssaeler's
lover.  Ran clinic after Tachyon left.

     Parents of Zoe Harris, Bjorn was killed by violence after giving money to
help jokers move to Israel.  Anne moved to Jerusalem for treatment.

Herne
     A joker with a deer's body and the ability to call the Wild Hunt.  Real
name Dylan Hardesty, also very strong.  Wild Hunt power only worked at night.

Willie Horton
     Joker rapist that brought Michael Dukakis down with his release.

Ice Blue Sibyl
     Dr. Pretorius's joker assistant.

Ichor-Bod
     Jokertown prostitute used by Gregg Hartman.

Jan, Jimmy, Jellyhead and Needles
     Jokertown gang and protectors.  Worked with Zoe Harris who got them out
of the country.

Kafka
     Joker assistant to the Astronomer and Bloat.  Insect-life.

Lamia
     Joan Van Renssaeler, one of the van Renssaeler family who drew a joker,
and came to live in Jokertown.  Ex-wife of Brandon, mother of Clara, and
part-time assistant at the Jokertown clinic.

Lostboy
     Joker named for his vampire-like habits.

Mal
     Joker whose heavyweight boxing career was ruined by the wild card.

     A joker.

     Organ-like joker who died in the Church of Jesus Christ Joker arson fire.
