They are most often Arbiters who have worked their way up the ranks but some times an outsider is appointed if he shows great experience eg Imperial Guard Captain. They are sent to any worlds showing signs of rebellion, infestation, chaos, etc so they are very well travelled. The skills and trappings represent a 'typical' Inquisitor (if such a thing exists) - any combination of skills and trappings is possible. Advanced Career Exits: Rogue Trader New Skills: Genestealer Lore - Knowledge of genestealer infestation - its history, planets affected, breeding cycle of genestealers, etc. This information is classified and should not be shared with the general populace! Tyranid Lore - Knowledge of different tyranid creatures, planets invaded, typical method of attack, etc. Includes knowledge of genestealers on battlefield but not to genestealer infestation of civilised worlds. This information is classified and should not be shared with the general populace! Desert Lore - Knowledge of how to survive in a desert environment, best ways to obtain and conserve water, typical creatures encountered, best camoflague patterns to use, etc. Military Organisation - Knowlege of how to organise and carry out a military operation from initial scout reports to personally leading squads during the mission. On a successful Int test, will come up with a sensible plan for a given situation. To personally command troops during mission may require Ld tests depending on circumstances.
