Days are separated into hours and minutes as designated through the
Wizard's Time Table, which is located in the center of all places.  Time
passes regardless of area and the Time Table is not created by a race, but
simply exists as a thing to be accepted.  Even the giants of the Free
Cities use it, though oftentimes, they don't pay heed to hours or simply
choose to ignore it.  Many people have attempted to destroy the time tables
but each and every one becomes afflicted with some sort of stoning poison
which turns the would-be destroyer into stone in a few days.
