Turtle Jedi

After searching for some time, Leo found Master Yoda in the Jedi Council Chamber alone. "Master Yoda, pardon my intrussion," excused Leo. "Why are you here when the council is not in session."

"Looking for me you have. Many are. Few look where people are not."

The tugator frowned. He didn't mean to disturb the jedi master during a scarse moment of peace. "Perhaps it is better if I come back another time."

"Better time you find not," replied Master Yoda.

Leo closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "The clone army has faired well against the separatist. But I worry about the length of this war. I've heard reports of some problems found with out weapons and vehicles. I know an engineer from homeworld who is very skilled. I'd like permission to have him analyze our machines and offer improvements."

Yoda's head titled to the side. Leo could feel his heart pounding waiting for the jedi master's response.

The wise leader noded. "Travel to your homeworld you may. Improve the machines if you can. But place not your faith in technology. Greater ally the force is."

The tugator managed to contain his surprise. He did not expect the jedi master to agree to his plan so readily. "May the force be with you," said Leo as he turned to leave.

After the young jedi left Yoda turned to the window and looked upward. The sith confuse the path of the future. He may be unable to predict events but something felt off with Leo's journey.

The journey to his homeworld was uneventful filling Leo with hope. It was not until he approached Don's home that he noticed something was wrong. Blaster marks scorched many homes. Some were completely destroyed.

Leo landed and quickly leaped out of his starship. His lightsader ignited in his hands. He didn't see any opponents but figured it was best to be prepared. He found an old friend sitting down near Don's home. The droid parts left little doubt as to who was responsible.

"What happened?" asked the jedi.

Mike had some injuries but nothing too serious. "The separatists attacked."

"Why invade our world?"

Mike shook his head. "This wasn't an invasion. Just a small team. They took Don. Don was working on something. He was very secretive about it but told me it might stop the war. I figured he was exagerating like improvements he made to the speeder as a kid. But last week he gave me a holocube to hide. He said if anything should happen to him I should get the cube to you. Guess you just saved me a trip."

What could be so important on that holocube wondered Leo.
