FANTASY OS WORLDS

     A community is created by the people who live in it.  To aid people
choosing what operating system world to live, I've collected information
about some of the inhabitants of Linux and NT.

INHABITANTS OF LINUX

Daemons
     Daemons are the ultimate givers.  Countless stories exist of people
in trouble who were aided by the generous daemons.  Eftepe facilitates
the sharing of files.  Inet ensure the other daemons behave.

Elves
     Elves came to Linux in the year 1.2 KV (Kernel Version).  They run the
show now.  In fact you will encounter problems if you try to seperate them
into their own module.  Early on there was some arguements about whether
elves should be allowed on Linux but such descrimination has pretty much
vanished.

Gnomes
     In many fatansy worlds, gnomes are rare compared to humans, dwarves,
and elves.  Not so on Linux.  Gnomes have been working very hard to be
the first to greet visitors to the new world.  Although new to linux, they
are rapidly advancing technologically.  I've heard they have even reached
orbit.  (Although red hats are a common fashion accessory, it is not
esential.)

INHABITANTS OF NT

Wizards
     Wizards are the keepers of secrets.  They collect the knowledge of
the world and only release tiny pieces to the community.  Fighting them
is not recomemded.  Instead you would be wise to accept what they allow.
